Eventually a trainer named Danielle will appear and join the conversation. ++++ Dialog | * "Isaac": "What brought us to this place? In this time?" * "Isaac": "Heck, in this Space and in this Time!" * "Isaac": "What keeps us moving forward?" * "Isaac": "What keeps our surroundings so structured? So consistent?" * "Isaac": "At one point, there was nothing, right?" * "Isaac": "Then there were enough somethings to lead you here." * "Isaac": "Isn't that incredible?" * "Isaac": "But what was it? And why? How? Where?" * "Isaac": "What started the universe?" * "Isaac": "Why did they do it?" * "Isaac": "Where are they now?" * "Isaac": "Is there anyone left who knew them?" * "Isaac": "Or maybe it's not one being. Maybe it's many. I don't know!" * "Isaac": "Aren't you curious?!" * "Isaac": "I hope so! I'm curious how ELSE you can be defeated!" * "Danielle": "Like, right when I think I've beaten you every which way…" * "Danielle": "…we fight again, and I manage to discover a new way to win!" * "Danielle": "But, you know, as long as we stay competing?" * "Danielle": "I really think that, together, we can get to the end of possibilities." * "Danielle": "Then I can publish my book!" * "Danielle": "It'll be titled '501 Ways [PLAYER] Lost to Danielle.'" * "Danielle": "And it'll be an inter-regional best seller, guaranteed!" * "Isaac": "I'm sorry, but who is this, [PLAYER]?" * "Danielle": "I'm Danielle! And who are you?" * "Isaac": "Isaac. And, well, I have been looking for a strong trainer." * "Isaac": "Someone looking for incredible discovery." * "Isaac": "A trainer interested in unlocking the very fabric…" * "Isaac": "…of Space and Time." * "Danielle": "Oh, then good thing I came along!" * "Danielle": "You almost got mixed up with this weakling!" * "Isaac": "Weakling, eh? Did we not fight for a reason?" * "Danielle": "Because I didn't sleep great last night." * "Danielle": "When I'm well rested, I'm the stronger trainer, trust me." * "Isaac": "I tried to tell you I was kidding! But you said no takebacks." * "Isaac": "In fact, the more trainers I have on this, the better." * "Isaac": "Two trainers as strong as you two? And you have history?" * "Isaac": "This must be my lucky day!" * "Danielle": "The more trainers you have for what?" * "Isaac": "To discover the makings of the universe, of course!" * "Danielle": "Oh, well, duh. Because THAT'S a common thing." * "Isaac": "I sense your sarcasm. I even understand your doubt." * "Isaac": "But all I ask is an open mind. In return, I can give you the universe…" * "Isaac": "…in the palms of your hands." * "Danielle": "I mean, I'm curious enough for a temporary partnership." * "Danielle": "But only if [PLAYER] admits that I'm the-" * "Isaac": "No takebacks! You said it yourself!" * "Danielle": "Ugh, you're right. Fine. What's first?" * "Isaac": "First, I must begin my research!" * "Isaac": "Beginning with my computer." * "Isaac": "Go to the lab and get me the one that's …mine…if you don't mind." * "Danielle": "Easy. Lead the way, [PLAYER]!" ++++ ---- ==== Objective 2 - Find Isaacs Computer ==== After defeating Danielle, Isaac will ask you to retrieve "his" computer from Professor Hemlocks lab. Go to the computer and you will automatically pick it up. Coordinates: 734, 46, 915 ---- ==== Objective 3 - Return Isaacs Computer ==== After picking up the computer take it back to Isaac on the top floor of the observatory to initiate some more dialog. ++++ Dialog | * "Isaac": "Thank you for getting MY computer!", * "Danielle": "Is that really yours, though?", * "Isaac": "I usually love questions because I love curiosity!", * "Isaac": "But that question will be ignored.", * "Danielle": "Thanks?", * "Isaac": "Next up, we have the Clock" ++++ ---- ==== Objective 4 - Find The Clock ==== Isaac has asked you to find his clock, but doesn't give you any clues to find it. You will find it downstairs in the center of the room. When you try and pick up the clock a Pachirisu will appear and run off with it. Coordinates of clock: 916, 64, 1007 ---- ==== Objective 5 - Chase the Pachirisu ==== Pachirisu will run off to the bottom of the second staircase in front of the observatory. Go after it to trigger it running again. Chase the Pachirisu across town until you eventually corner it. * **Note it is recommended you follow its actual path to ensure the next part triggers correctly.** 1st Location: 916, 52, 956 - Bottom of the second set of stairs in front of the observatory. 2nd Location: 789, 45, 956 - Next to Aunty Bibly. 3rd Location: 854, 46, 934 - In front of Tourist Mari. 4th Location: 955, 52, 956 - At the end of the walkway Ryder is on, between the two staircases leading up to the observatory. 5th Location: 956, 52, 1029 - Straight shot from loc 4, in the market stalls. After catching up to the Pachirisu it will automatically battle you. Defeat it and it will drop the clock you need. ++++ Pachirisu Battle | ^ Pokemon ^ Pachirisu ^ | Level | 9 | ++++ ---- ==== Objective 6 - Return The Clock To Isaac ==== Pick up the clock the Pachirisu left behind and take it back to Isaac to initiate some more dialog with him and Danielle. ++++ Dialog | * "Isaac": "Excellent! How else can we tell what time's doing…", * "Isaac": "…without a clock to tell us?", * "Danielle": "Huh?", * "Isaac": "Last but not least!", * "Isaac": "Your skills in battle will be needed." * "Isaac": "You see, I had a book taken from me years ago.", * "Isaac": "So it's technically mine.", * "Isaac": "But the current 'owner' will pretend to not know that.", * "Isaac": "So battle him if necessary! But we must have the book.", * "Isaac": "His name is Senex, he lives near the docks." ++++ ---- ==== Objective 7 - Find Senex ==== Isaac asks you and Danielle to retrieve "his" book from someone named Senex, who lives by the docks. After finding Senex you will trigger some dialog with him and Danielle and automatically go into a battle with him. After defeating him he will give you the book Isaac asked for. ++++ Dialog | Before Battle: * "Senex": "Why hello there, how can I help you?", * "Danielle": "Enough games, old man. We came for the book.", * "Senex": "The book? What book?", * "Danielle": "The one that belongs to Isaac. Hand it over.", * "Senex": "I know which book you're after.", * "Senex": "But I'm afraid I can't just hand it over.", * "Danielle": "Then [PLAYER] here is going to take it from you.", * "Senex": "How about we battle for it?", * "Senex": "It's been years since I've stepped in the ring." After Battle: * "Senex": "Yes! Now that's how you get the blood pumping!", * "Senex": "I feel ten, fifteen years younger!", * "Danielle": "You sure look like it too!", * "Senex": "I'm too happy to care about your sarcasm.", * "Senex": "Here, [PLAYER], the book is yours.", * "Senex": "But for the record, that was never Isaac's book.", * "Senex": "Although to be honest, I can't remember a single word.", * "Senex": "It's like I never once opened it. Huh! Who knows!", * "Senex": "But anyway, enjoy! And thanks again!", * "Danielle": "You're welcome!", * "Senex": "Ha-ha, not you! And I don't care either way.", * "Danielle": "Anyway, [PLAYER], looks like we're done here.", * "Isaac": "Yes! I must now get to my work. I'll see you two soon!", * "Danielle": "And when will that be?", * "Isaac": "Who knows! It could be tomorrow, it could be a month ago.", * "Danielle": "What?", * "Isaac": "Who knows!
